Warning! Warning! 700 1989

I have the exact same kit that I pulled from a donor in a PNP. I installed it along with a 740 LH oil temp gauge in F in my '89 745TI M46 133K

When I hooked it up to those contacts that the voltmeter was attached to; it did the same thing and I got real lucky and only fried my interior dimmer in the cluster.

You will need to tap the power either from the back of the cig. lighter or the fuse panel. I think those clips are only for an older VDO cluster not the newer Yaz.

The green wire goes to the smaller terminal on the oil pressure sender and the idiot light will need it's end modified with new connector.

I love having the gauge in the upper RH side instead of the boost gauge.

BTW: I easily replaced the burned out dimmer with a good donor but you don't want to risk frying something else on these load sensitive circuit boards.
