Yes or No ? B-18/ 20 rear crank seal housing alternative 140-160

To replace the old style rear crank seal with a new one piece style it looks as though you can use the later style seal housing from a b-230. The later style has 2 extra bolt holes but does not effect the gasket sealing surface. The B-230 also takes the right seal for the B-20. The drain hole and the oil cavity was deleted in the B-230 housing when the change was made to the new style seal. If anyone disagrees I would like to know. It looks like a good swap to me and others as well because they are easy to find and way cheaper than modified B-20 seal housings. Thanks , Larry
