I am seeking to fix a problem I found in the wiring harness under my dash. Seems that some current got too high in a wire and melted a good portion of it's length and melted the black grouped harness quick-connector also on the side where the wire went in.
I would like to find a replacement for the harness connector (has six holes for the wires on each side I think...). I can't seem to figure out how to pull out the wires from the connector however. How is this done. Do you have to pull the connector apart? Mine is so melted that I don't think it will come apart. Too bad a fuse didn't blow and avoid this problem :-(
Any advice/tips out there on this?
