Rear wiper not working (not the tailgate wiring) 200 1993

Shoot, fixed the wiring harness on both sides by extending the wires in the tailgate and cutting out the bad sections. It took me about 8 hours to do both sides, working carefully one hinge at a time.

The wiring work restored the power lock and 3rd brake light to life. Unfortunately, no life returned to the rear wiper. I measure 12v at the connector in the tailgate panel with wiper switch on.

I suppose, then, either motor or linkage are most likely? It looks like a little bit of a puzzle to get the motor and linkage out of there. Does this mean next Sunday's booked, too?

Best,
Joe
