Clear headlights using turtlewax kit 200 1990

I went out and got one of the kits after seeing this (I chose RainX one) and all I can say is Wow. I had no idea all that yellow was just on the outside. And I thought I knew everything on every shelf at Autozone - I never noticed those kits. For me it worked to about 90%, ie, the yellow is about 90% gone with just a little left. So now I wondering if to get that 10% I need to split the headlites and polish from the inside or if just hitting the outside again will do it. Anybody have any opinions or experience there? I guess the question is does the mechanism that yellows the plastic (uv?) operate thru it to the other side? Or maybe I'm wasting time and the last 10% is actually in the body of the plastic.
