front seatback improvement/restoration 200

Has anyone found a good way to re-inforce or otherwise improve the foam in the front seatback of the 240? I found a source of the replacement bottom foam and the seatback is in very good shape except neat the top (center) it is sracked about 9" all the way through and the rest if good. Any ideas on how to kind of reinforce the back?

Just a comment: I find it odd that both the lower and upper heating grids, even though in good condition, were held by string on one side and then only nylon-filament tape over the heating wires. Over time, the tape has unsticked and the wires kind of gathered in a couple of clumps. I used the great suggestion of a fellow B.B.er and used wire to loosely hold the other side of the heating grid wires and they are ready to put back when I re-assemble the seats. Any now-or-never ideas/comments regarding the grids before it put 'em back?
