oil filter wrench 200 1989

There used to be an oil filter removal tool that had sort of rubber gripping stuff inside the loop that gripped the filter well. I lost mine a few years ago and bought just the "standard" filter wrench that slips as I try to loosen up the filter, as I could not find the same style I have used for years, and before you say it, my filters are never “over tightened“, but I still sometimes need the wrench after 3000 miles just to get it started off if I can't loosen it with my hands, mostly due to the road gunk making it slippery. The wrench tends to slip on the filter sometimes causing some skinned arms down by the exhaust manifold. Question is -what’s a better filter removal wrench? I can not find the style I used to use, which I really liked, anywhere in my area. BTW I always use Mann filters.
