Been here a long time have never seen this issue.
Got rear-ended, no taillights broken, bulbs only. Replaced bulbs in pairs.
With lights off, step on brake, bulb warning light. All brake lights are good.
Turn lights on, bulb warning light, no lights out.
The really weird:
With lights off, step on brake, bulb out warning and radio display dims.
With lights on, cruise control won't engage.(will engage with lights off)
Cleans fender grounds, and tail grounds.
Everything worked prior to being rear-ended.
Any guesses appreciated.
