Overdrive pistons 200 1983

Gearing up to rebuild the overdrive and from reading the FAQ I realize there is a chance I'll run into a problem with the pistons with teflon o-rings. Any way of knowing if I need new pistons before hand? OD is from an 83.

Any easy source to get a pair. What do they run? What years are most likely to have these teflon rings or do all of the original one have them?
