Speedometer and Steering 700

Hi, I have two things come up. 740 Turbo 1990.

My speedometer is jumping about radically. I have never looked at these before. Is it a cable speedometer or electronic? Any ideas? Should I just get a new cable? Or maybe where it connects has come loose?

The other issue is my power steering. I have just started to notice that high pitched scretching sound when I am say turning out of a parking spot. Not quite full lock, which I try to avoid, but the sound has started a little. Nothing when driving normally. I just had all my belts changed. Could it be a loose belt? Or if maintenance is required what does anybody suggest? What would be the first go to maintenance required?

Thanks again,

Dean
