Hi Friends,

I got the two motor mounts and the trans mount. I did the trans mount first, as it looked easier, and I cannot believe the difference that it made.

The tailshaft was resting directly on top of the mount carrier, and my old mount was in pieces.

I can't believe that all that noise has been eliminated by the trans mount alone.

I may hold off on the motor mounts for a few weeks, as their condition seems to be OK, but I will address the crank pulley (thanks again Charley!) that I've been putting off for a while since I thought I'd be pulling out the engine/trans.


Thanks so much folks! Next you'll have to help me on the 200 Forum to get my sis's 1993 240 to pass emissions inspection!!!!
