Help Testing FPR 200 1983

Thanks for the quick help Art. I noticed you replying to quite a few posts, and it is appreciated.

So my next question is:

I know the ideal way to test would be with a gauge, but could I try the reverse of what I was doing and replace the return hose on the FPR with a length of tube and see how much fuel the FPR is passing?

I assume it would be functioning correctly if I saw a steady stream of fuel with the car running at idle?
