Hi Folks,

My 1990 740 is looking and running so good these days, I'd love it if my odometer worked too.

The very helpful guy at www.odometergears.com told me that the japanese-made odometers in 1990 740's could not be repaired.

Is this true?

I've searched the FAQ and old messages, but found no solution to this.

All the other gauges work, though I have to give a separate WHACK! to both the temp. and fuel gauges to start them up.
