Removal of fuel pump, fuel filter, power steering rack, exhaust assembly, struts 700 1992

My 17 year old son and I are taking apart a '92 740 wagon that he wrecked and transferring whatever we can to an '89 740 wagon. The new car has the rare twin cam engine but a lot of the parts are transferrable. We have already changed out the entire interior, except for the dashboard. We are a little nervous about doing that because of odometer, etc. We want to remove the fuel filter and pump, the power steering rack and the exhaust assembly. These are all out of our expertise...don't even know where they are. Different manuals says different things. Can anybody advise us on this? Thanks!
