Sway bar link kit; tie rod ends 700 1991

I have to replace a tie rod end - guess I'll replace the pair. While under the car I noticed the bushings on the sway bar link don't look so good. So I'm thinking of replacing that pair too. On the FCPGroton site it says that the link is either lollipop or threaded on both ends. Mine is threaded only on top - does that just mean it's been replaced previously with an aftermarket? It's definitely not lollipop. Looks like an easy job, but any advice on the tie rod ends or sway bar link appreciated. Should I order the separator tool for the tie rod ends? I notice the top of the tie rod ends have no threads, totally rusted (northeast Ohio). Thanks.
