FYI - replacing rad hoses via NAPA 120-130 1967

While draining out a little antifreeze to remove the heater box/HCV, I noticed that both of the radiator hoses needed replacing. Not wanting to wait for an online order, I checked NAPA. Their database had the part, same hose for top and bottom, so I went and bought two.

Well, NBH7545, looked good but was a 1/4 inch too small for my radiator pipes and the thermostat connection. Perfect for the bottom engine fitting??

Perhaps my radiator was replaced some time during the last 300K miles, but the thermostat housing?

So I went back to NAPA and bought one NBH8834, cut it almost in half and it fits both top and bottom. The bottom engine fitting was too loose but the clamp solved that.

For what it is worth, the radiator pipes are about 1 1/8 inch OD while the bottom engine is close to 1 inch OD.
