Rough idle 700 1990

The first start is a little rough for about 6-7 seconds and then smooths right out. Like a switch on and off. The back water hose blew out about 6 months ago and it was stemaing hot. I am not sure if this is related. My wife was driving most of the time and I think it has been idling rough for awhile. Runs nice ater the idle period.

Chevron mechanic said he put a temp switch in to try , since he was not sure what was causing it. They also thought it could be an intermittent injector. He also thought about changing the cold start injector but decided not. Are there more than 1 temp switch to the computer?

Any assistence with this problem will be apprecated.
