TRE and Ball Joint question

Hi,

I really wanted to see if you are right. I thought about it all day, and I was even distracted in class.

The class 12.9 Metric Capscrews will clear the strut plate with hand force. If I used thin hardened washers they would not touch.

Even though the screws BARELY touch each other, I am not concerned. If my suspension is at full extension whilst I am traveling down the road with the wheels at lock, there is a bigger problem then a little noise. I would rather have new fasteners and the safety that comes with proper equipment.

If your control arms are bent, then they might not clear with this hardware, but if they are bent you should replace them.
