Rear Calipers, Fear and Loathing 900

Hello

I wanted to change the rear brake pads in my 93 940 yesterday. When I removed the wheel, it looks like the caliper has not been touch in years. I can see where the pins should be knocked out. It looks like all of the hardware is severely rusted. I can get a brake hardware kit from Volvo (4 pins/ 2clippy things), but I was concerned about the risks of pulling the thing apart.

Are there any known issues in trying to remove these pins, or is their removal pretty successful? Are my odds good of pushing the piston back in? I am concerned because I would like to do the brakes, but I don't have an extra vehicle to drive if I need to seriously muck with anything I break.

Thanks for any opinions!
