I just purchased a 92 945 with 187K. It is the normally aspirated b230. I need a quick head replacement as the original has suffered heavily from electrolsis.

I have a very nice head on the shelf that I pulled out of an 87 744 that had the b230ft. If it should check out to be plane and I install it on the b230 what effects will it have on its driveability? It is my quickest and easiest fix. I do not want to have the original welded and milled at this time.
