Power Window Acting Up 700 1987

Left Rear power window will only GO DOWN, not up... Swapped around several known good switches, test light lights up when switch is operated BOTH up and down. Is it possible that the motor will only work in one direction, and not the other, or would this be caused some other wiring or switch failure?
