Steering wheel cowl for late 140/early 240? 200 1973

The plastic box under the steering wheel that holds the switches for the turn signal
and wiper on the Yellow Peril is cracked and dying.
I found the later item (I think it came off a 1976 264) made of diecast white metal
that seems to fit OK and will hold the switches just fine. I'm planning to put it on
in a few minutes. But there's a problem: The two-piece plastic cowl that fits around it
is made to mount to the smaller plastic one will not mount to the newer metal item.
Does anyone have the plastic cowl that goes between the steering wheel and the dash
from an early 240/260 that they would be willing to part with?
Your help in this will be greatly appreciated!
