Sent these guys a message, but have yet to receive a reply. Any response on the sensor?

The slide on my 1800 was stuck, and I couldn't find a reasonably priced one, so I wound up making an air valve with a thermostatic disc and a solenoid valve. It's pretty HD, very reliable and wasn't expensive to build (E-bay solenoid valve!). When I get around to restoring the car though, I'd like to put the real thing in, so I hope they are for real. Has anyone used the rebuild service?
