I Failed My Emission Test (Goal) - Don’t Make the Same Mistake! 200 1977

Hello,

I am really disappointed in myself. All the trouble I went through for my 1977 Volvo 264 GL to try to get it to pass emissions and I go and screw it up. If I had just waited for my car to warm up a little more, maybe tried to adjust the valve clearance again, and changed the oil again.

I got a 72 on the low speed test. I was aiming for 20. There is no excuse for numbers like that, I should have waited longer for the catalytic converter to warm up. I ran it for less then 10 minutes before the test.

The high speed test was better, I got a 40 on the HC. Even though the limit for a 1995 is 180, I feel disgusted.
