Update - Resolved 200 1982

Thank you everyone for your help and input. I went surfing in the ebay Volvo 240 section looking for a "new" alternator with the fan/pulley assembly still attached. I was able to find one that was taken off some junkyard Volvo. It's on it's way. I'm 40 bucks poorer, but lots wiser...lol! As soon as it gets here I'll be taking it and my umm....experimental one to the local mech-tech and have them pneumatic wrench it off.

I think I'm still going to grind off the blades on the opposite side of the fan/pulley assembly - just because!

Thanks again everybody. If I do something that silly again, I give everybody permission to talk to me like a third-grader...lol!
