No start after airbox mod 200 1986

Hey guys... After reading a few posts about eliminating the broken flex tube extending from the airbox to the heat shield on the exhaust manifold, I went ahead and removed those parts this weekend. It was a pretty simple procedure, but due to circumstances beyond my control I haven't started or driven the car since I did the work on Saturday. I went out to fire it up this morning, and it cranked but refused to fire. Add to that a weak battery in need of replacement, and it's made for a crappy Monday morning.

Anyhow, I didn't disconnect any wires or anything when I was removing the heater tube... Is there something I might've bumped on the AMM that would cause a no-fire situation? Anything else I should check? I know this is a shot a in the dark, but I thought I'd ask while the battery charges. TIA-
