After all of the problems with screwed up wiring, the ignition module quit on my wife today. The car ran fine all day then would not restart. Since the gas was low, I checked fuel pressure, pump relay, ECU etc before checking the spark. Luckily, I had a spare from another 86 and the problem was solved.

Has anyone found a way to update the ignition controls on one of these cars? Are there any after market units that would update the stone age electronics on the 240?
