Emissions Testing - Regular or Super 900

Do not use denatured alcohol. To pass the emmissions just do the basics you need to do anyway:

Plugs
Air filter
oil change
flame trap
rotor dist cap if your car has them
Fill up with premium fuel

All this costs less than $50, and are regular maintenance items.

If you have time, also clean

throttle body
IAC clean leaves debris from intake
battery terminals - replace battery if it is more than 4 years old

When I get an e-test, I fill up with premium, and do an Italian Tuneup. I run the car in low gear so the rpm's are 4000-4500 for ten minutes. This clears the crud out and frees the valves up. Then I go to the e-test facility with the car warmed up.
