Replacing fan motor and while I am there … 200 1992

My 1992 fan is screaming so I need to replace it right? As I have read in other posts this is not a fun job, and I am guessing its one I will only want to do once in the next 10 years/ 200,00 miles. Therefore, I am trying to create a list of other things to do or buy before The Great Tare Down of 2010. Like…

Changing the clock to an RPM gauge and adding Oil Pressure and Battery Gauges—anyone happy with the aftermarket ones? Volvo ones are getting harder to find and the price is running up. Is there an aftermarket rpm gauge that will replace the cluster clock-have not seen a good Volvo one on eBay in a while

Soldering the Sony radio wires—they keep coming unclipped
Adding real radio speaker wire
Adding remote door locks by “Aye Roll” mar 8 2006—and an alarm
Replacing all of the light bulbs
Adjusting the break light switch –or replace it?
Adding 2 HOT 12v outlets to the glove box and 3 in the rear of the 245. –I’m in LE and need to recharge my gear.
Cleaning everything while I am there.

Please help with any other Ideas? I only want to do this once.
