240DL - steering rack identification (again!) 200

I can't tell which rack you have. The front view of the right side does look like a CAM rack boot (outer end fits to tierod rather than a larger plastic disk of the ZF).

However, the front left side view doesn't show the outer end of that boot, nor the 2-bolt removable access cover at the bottom end of the pinion shaft that I'd expect to see on a CAM rack. So it does NOT look like a CAM rack to me either.
The blue color says it may be a rebuilt rack, possibly a TRW, which has CAM-like boots.

But it's really a moot point anyway since most rack rebuilders know it's one or the other (CAM or ZF) and will include the few simple mounting parts for a ZF if they send you a CAM, or vice versa. I know that's what Jorgen Automotive does (call 800-333-0060).
