Dash Console Lights 200 1992

Yep the center console is lit, not all that well but there is some. There are three bulbs tied to brown and black wires that cast some light on the subject. You have to remove the two side panels on the center console there is one large phillips and the big plastic holding that on. Then remove the two screws at the very bottom front and ease the console forward. You can get higher wattage bulbs that cast a bit more light. I used 2 watt bulbs I think, its been a bit since I found out that there are all sorts bulbs that were out. The .8 watts are what it came with I think. No ill affects with increasing the wattage on my 86.

This is not for the fat fingered by the way. You pop the socket out of the holder, pull the old bulb out and pop in the new one. Then push that back into the socket. Test it before you pull all those screws back in.

Good Luck,

Paul
