Identifying pins on ECU connector? Coolant temperature sensor check... 700 1992

1992 745 185K Rex Regina

Check engine light is on and the code is 1-2-3 (Fault in signal to/from coolant temperature sensor)

This car has been sitting for three years with a blown headgasket and a bad transmission. I installed a replacement head and would like to move on to the transmission replacement. I would like to do a pin test at the ECU connector to begin figuring out the 1-2-3 code.

This car has the Volvo 3531658 ECU and when I removed the connector I expected to see numbers identifying the pins either on the connector or the ECU but there aren't any.

Bentley's shows the coolant temperature sensor pin to be #13 on the LH2.4 and 3.1 systems.

Can someone give me the coolant temperature pin number and tell me how to locate it on the connector of this Rex Regina car? Thanks.

Randy
