1985 245 Overdrive Fuse 200 SOLVED 200 1985

Got it solved and wanted to post the results.

The problem was intermittent Overdrive fuse failure (blown). I found that on this 245 the rear window defogger is on the same circuit as the Overdrive relay. The hatch wire is bad and was causing the fuse to blow. I disconnected the power to the defogger at the fuse panel and all is good. It is the large blue wire; the smaller blue wire powers the Overdrive.

Going to plan a evening to replace the hatch wire harnesses.

For Al - You are right; my farm is near Puyallup on top of the hill so I will have a great view of the Lahar!

Best Regards,
Mike
