Well, knock sensor codes are Rex and not Regina if they come from a "Regina car."

But all the same, John, I don't know personally whether FI codes are stored in nvram, but I do know the fuel maps and possibly the fuel trim are, based on the special programming tool available to the dealers for the Bendix system. This only tells me the nvram is present in the FI controller, as compared to the Bosch which only has volatile ram and eprom. Not what's being done with it. I don't have that Programming Tool green book, but I did get to read it once, and like I said earlier, I shouldn't be responding on the 700 posts -- having only brief experience with a 92 940.

If Randy cannot reset the codes with a power pull, and this is a valid way to do it, then maybe Randy's Bendix Box is broken. It has to happen to someone.
