let me try again 900

1994 940 turbo wagon. Ran well until Saturday when I brought it in for some work. Check Engine light is on and has been for months. Exhaust pipe after cat was cracked. Leaking Fuel hose from filter to engine at the filter (replaced the filter 2-3 weeks ago) and the squirts were not working (under the air intake box with the AMM on top.
So..... I cut 1/2" off and re-attached the hose. Welded the cracked pipe, pulled out the washer bottle and replaced the pumps (wagon has 2). and then changed the oil. And when I went to restart.... it took a few times to restart....it has a seeking idle that rolls and as soon as I put it in gear.... no power. I checked the code and got a 1 2 1 which is the AMM. So I ordered one on Saturday (016)but it won't be here until Monday. I went to a bone yard and got another but it didn't change anything and may be bad too. I can start it and drive it as long as I'm not in a hurry and 6 mph is enough (although I can get it up to 25mph with a hill)
So, my idea is that it's still the AMM but am having doubts because of the time I have to think about it. Worried that I'll get the new part and still have a problem. Is there anything else I can check now before I get the new AMM? does using the AMM cleaner really help?

Thanks

Christopher
