car bogs down when gas pedal down when in drive 140-160 1974

1974 164E automatic. so far replaced fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel filter, water pump, all brakes, spark plugs, egr pipe to exhaust and exhaust from resonator back to get the car on the road. i have only driven the car 120 miles so it is only beginning to show any problems since i put it on the road. i could always hear a hiss from the passenger side when i would let my foot off the gas pedal while driving. it will start up every time and idle strong and if i press the gas pedal it responds normally in park. recently when i begin to drive the car, sometimes immediately other times a little ways down the road, the car will just lose all power and actually gets worse when i press the gas all the way sounding as if it will stall. when i let my foot off the pedal it won't stall but won't have enough power to do anything except get off the road. i suspect a vacuum leak but can't find it. modulator on the bw35 in 1974 volvo? doesn't seem to have that. it feels like a transmission problem but it did behave this way once in park so i thought it might be vacuum leak. also, the auxiliary air valve leads are disconnected and seem to be gone entirely. where do they connect to? i checked the schematics but can't find where they go. also, where to get that style of connector (at the valve side). also, there is only one connection on the idle adjustment. where does the other spade connect to. any 1974 164 owners who might be able to tell me?
