State License Tags: BE ENLIGHTENED!! 200

Not too long ago there was interest and anx over how to deal with tag lights. I am happy (and a tiny bit proud) to announce that I was able to remove the original tag bracket, install threaded anchors and intall a modified 2011 Mercede-Benz tag bracket to the body and use motorcycle LEDs at the top of the bracket and they serve as the top "screws" for the tag but also serve as tag lights. I extended the wiring from the original tags lights to power the LEDs. Then, 'the piece-de-resistance', I used tow-hitch receiver plugs to plug the openings where the original tag light assemblies used to be housed. The only thing I am uncertain of is the "blue" light they emit. I think it is legal but it just looks different. Anyway, for about $20.00 and some thinking and pretending to be Art Benstein, I gots lites. I hope this inspires someone or more.

What did the monkey say after the train ran over his tail? "It won't be long now" (out of respect for you, Art, my vain attempt at humor.....I promise it won't continue)
