Speedometer quit at 196,506 miles...... S90-V90 1996

Still enjoy driving my 1996 Volvo 960. Took her for a spin and noticed the speedometer was not working. Have experienced a few electrical gremlins over the years but this thing just quit with no warning. Worked fine yesterday, did not work at all today. Any ideas/suggestions on where to start ? Brickboard is great and I want to thank the founder and all those skilled knowledge filled boarders who support each other.
