New wiper motor installed. Now slow and delay is fast, and fast is slow 200 1984

So I assumed that installing a new-used wiper motor is pretty much plug-and-play. But the motor runs on fast speed when the switch stalk is on slow, and vice versa. Also, when delay is selected, the speed is fast.

What the heck did I do to screw this up? The wiring harness' plug matched the socket on the wiper motor. I looked at the wiring diagram in my Bentley but couldn't tell which wires would be reversed that could cause this. And no, I didn't do anything to the switch.

I know it's not a major problem, but it's puzzling. Could the wiper motor differ from year to year? I think this motor came from a newer 240 since the inside looked very clean. Maybe it's an aftermarket and not OEM.

Hmmmmm.....
