Hi all,

I have some CRC mass air flow sensor cleaner and am thinking about cleaning my MAF as a way to improve fuel economy and/or improve performance.

I am not currently exhibiting any symptoms that would lead me to believe the car is having a problem with the MAF sensor.

Is this an action that is recommended for the above purpose?

The car is a 90 740 turbo with 163k.
