20/20 hindsight on trans pan removal 200 1983

On advice that I now regret, I removed my transmission pan as part of the flush and clean process. The transmission filter turned out to be absolutely clean and now with the replaced cork gasket, I have not been able to stop the leak. And it's fairly substantial. It's been a while and I've been diligent about keeping it topped off.

I want to correct this before winter ... what advice does anyone have regarding best methods to stem the fluid flow? Different type gasket, RTV? Thanks ahead!

Jim
