Hey Al, that's good information. Clears up an old mystery I've been meaning to solve by picking up a 92 or 93 cluster at the yard.

Ethan was headed to VA from MA today in that car, for the holidays, and he expressed some concern about ECU problems with the 4x signal from his old '90 cluster (I think the worry is over when there is a lack of VSS, not a faster one). Early this morning, he tried the swap of the two wires and sent me a message saying it worked. I tried to post back but the usual Saturday BB problems prevented it.

Thanks so much for getting back to me on the verification. It was hard to tell in the post if you were just reading me the Bentley, or if you knew this stuff yourself. The green books and the Bentley have fooled us before. You've made this board a success.
