rusty frame a critical point? 120-130

It is definitely repairable. You'll find it is also rusty further forward where the floor, bulkhead and rail form a fork. The most effective way to fix it is to cut away the floor, fix what is underneath and put the floor back in.

Don't be tempted with lots of little patches. Make up decent size patches and seam weld it. It is quicker and better. That is fixable in a day if you're reasonably experienced. It needs to be done right. That area is structurally and safety critical.
