Rear Control arm bushings 200 1988

So my rear control arm bushings are beginning to look more like swiss cheese then rubber and I guess it is an appropriate time to replace them. The only problem is that i have been searching the board and the internet alike for tips about removing them and have come up dry.

I am wondering if some sort of special tool is absolutely necessary or if with a bit of work, you gan get em out and then the new ones in. Also, there are 2 bushings per arm is that correct, the one in the front being thinner than the one in the rear?

Any sort of guidance would be most appreciated!
