Problem solved ... she starts! 200 1987

Coming clean ... fuel pump relay had not been plugged into connector on passenger side after wrongly identifying similar looking relay on driver side as the FPR. In our defense, google search indicated this relay # as a FPR.

HOWEVER, after plugging correct FPR into new harness, the car still would not start. I happened to have with me a junkyard FPR from my personal stash. We exchanged the two and the car started right up. Our best diagnosis, bad wiring harness, bad fuel pump relay. Thanks for all help, guys.

Regards,
Jim
