Dear Fellow Brickboarders,

Hope you're well. Those, with cars having Rex-Regina ignition/fuel management systems, may want to note that GM Part#12569240 is identical to Volvo Part #3517892. This item reads incoming air pressure. I'd guess it "informs" the engine control module.

The price is not identical: the Volvo part's MSRP is about $190. The GM part's MSRP is about $80.

GM used this part in a wide range of cars, from 1983 until about 2003. Thus, this sensor should be available for several more years, at least.
