1998 S90 alarm issue no start S90-V90

I have a S90 I got about a year ago with some damage in the rhs rear.So the trunk lid is not able to shut and the right rear door will not shut perfectly,I know it will be fixed. When It first landed here it started no problem .The other day i tried it and the battery was dead so I charged it for a number of days, When I went to try it today everything would work as normal but the car would not turn over and I noticed even with the car locked and unlocked a few times with the key on the outside the little light which flashes on the dash would flash even though the car was unlocked. Is it possible that because the trunk and door are not properly shut the alarm is not disengaged. Is there anything I can do ,also I do not have the remote thanks for your help Peter
