I installed an aftermarket rear tailight assembly because my daughters car had a cracked one. All lights have been working fine but the idiot light comes on whenever the brakes are applied. I am guessing the indicator works on the path of least resistance theory but that is as far as my brain can take it...Do I have light bulbs of different resistance or is the circuit board on the new light assembly different somehow? Any suggestion appreciated.
