An easy fix: 200

thanks for the post. I already have the clutch and brake pedal out with just a few more things I could have the fire wall near perfect. I think you have the right idea. I'm going to incorporate your washer idea and see if mounting by welding one around the fire wall cable hole to reinforce and distribute the force from the cable. I'm hoping to get at least another 20 years out of this car. Take it 500,000 or something. Otherwise I'd be parting it out instead of doing the clutch and rear axle sometime in the next few months. Its a never ending drama played out one part at a time.
