240 won't start after fender bender 200 1990

I recently found a 1990 240DL with 70k miles on it. Wifey decides to test the structural integrity of some guard rails. Minor damage, wiped out the headlights and grill but no sheet metal damage. But now the car won't start. It cranks but won't fire.

Is there an accident kill switch somewhere? Anyone else run into this? I jumped the #4 and number #6 fuses, fuel pump was running and it wouldn't fire then either.

The switch on the shift lever got knocked loose and I had to put that back into position to get it to crank, so I am leaning toward a problem there but I think that only allows the starter to engage.

Any thoughts appreciated.
